This is a classic Copenhagen værtshus (pub) and one of the city's oldest, about 100 years old. It is known for its brown interior and a long tradition of political debate among guests. It serves beer, wine and cocktails, and it suits groups.
It is open all 365 days of the year, from early afternoon until late night, and smoking is allowed. Tables cannot be reserved, and there is no take-away or outdoor seating. The entrance is not wheelchair accessible. Cards and mobile payments are accepted.
