This restaurant stands on the waterfront at Aarhus Ø, built around a wooden house and a greenhouse. It is the sister restaurant of Skovmøllen at Moesgaard and part of a group of three restaurants in and around Aarhus. The menu draws on Skovmøllen's history, dating back to 1823, and uses seasonal local ingredients and classic Danish cooking with a modern twist. Brunch, lunch and dinner are served, and children have their own menu.
Tables can be booked online, and there is outdoor seating. The restaurant hosts private events such as birthdays, weddings and julefrokost (Christmas lunch) and offers catering. The entrance, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, but dogs are not allowed. Parking is free for three hours at Q-Park Bassin 7.
