The café opened in 2010 and since 2021 has been in the former N.J. Fjordsgade school building on Frederiksbjerg in Aarhus, now a community house. The food is organic, seasonal and mostly plant-based, and the bread is baked fresh daily. There is a lunch and dinner buffet on weekdays, a brunch buffet on Saturdays and a chalkboard menu on Saturday evenings.
Tables can be booked online, and larger groups write by email. There is outdoor seating, takeaway and delivery. Cultural events run year-round, including live music, workshops, lectures and communal dinners. Seating, toilet and parking are wheelchair accessible.
