This church, next to the university, was consecrated in 1905 and designed by Hack Kampmann. Since 2015 its tower with the tall pointed roof has served as a navigation light for Aarhus Harbour. The Biblical Garden lies around the church, and the windows hold stained-glass mosaics by Arne Haugen Sørensen showing biblical scenes.
The church is open daily 9-18, except during services. The parish hall, Johannesgården, hosts a handicraft café, a men's club, lectures and baby singing. The entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
