This parish church in Skåde, Aarhus, was built in 1944 as a traditional Danish village church in red and white, designed by the architect Lønborg-Jensen. The choir and apse have Romanesque windows, the nave has Romanesque and Gothic ones, and the floor is laid with red monk bricks. It is known as the gift church, because the furnishings, the bell and the tower clock were largely donated by anonymous givers, committee members and craftsmen. It was consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent 1944.
Besides Sunday services, there is a baby singing group on Tuesdays, a digital café offering IT help in the parish hall and a Bible study group. A Christmas concert is held every year. There is a toilet, and the entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
