This Lutheran parish church in the Fredens parish in Viby, Aarhus, grew out of a 1944 meeting of about 200 people at Rosenvangskolen. Viby Sogn donated the site, ground was broken on 1 June 1959 by the church minister Bodil Koch, and the building was consecrated on 16 June 1960. It was originally a plain brick building and has since been rebuilt and extended in several stages. Its logo is the peace dove, as the name refers to peace within the individual and between people.
Activities include Sunday services, an organ club, a gospel choir, a girls' choir, baby hymn singing and a Tuesday talk series. An annual bazaar is held. There is a toilet, and the entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
