This is the oldest church in the Åby parish in Aarhus. The parish also has Åbyhøj Church, built in the 1940s, and a parish hall from 1979 with rooms for over a hundred people. Activities include confirmation preparation for 7th-grade pupils, a children's choir, a knitting café and a grief support group.
The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible, and there is a toilet. The parish hall has a lift to all floors and an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
