This cafe in the Latin Quarter of Aarhus has stood by Pustervig Torv since 1985, then under the name Café Jorn. The name came from the artist Asger Jorn but was changed because his heirs did not approve the idea. There is large outdoor seating under a parasol and a calm, enclosed courtyard. The kitchen serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and simple cafe dishes such as burgers, lasagne and chili con carne. From 6 pm the atmosphere turns more like a bar.
The renovated first floor has its own bar and can be rented for private events for up to 40 people. Tables can be booked, and at the bar you order at the counter. Card and mobile payments are accepted. Street parking nearby is limited, so the cafe recommends the paid car park at Magasin.
