This confectioner's and bread shop in Aarhus was founded in 1898 in a building from 1897, and its website calls it the city's oldest. Loaves come out of an Italian stone oven on site, and the range includes rolls, rye bread, long-fermented specialty breads, Danish pastries, layer cakes and sandwiches. The coffee comes from a small family plantation in Costa Rica.
Custom cakes for weddings, birthdays and confirmations can be ordered online. Sandwiches can be taken away, and you can pre-order and pay online, then collect in the shop. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and payment is possible by card and mobile.
