This church in Lumby parish on Funen was built around 1240 in the time of Valdemar Sejr and consists of a nave and chancel. The chancel arch crucifix dates from the same period and is carved in the French tradition. The nave was given three vaults around 1450, and the tower was added around 1500. The vaults were removed in 1825, and wall paintings that had been whitewashed were uncovered in 1958. The interior was extensively restored in 2002-2005, including a new organ.
Services are held here, for example Sunday evening leaf-fall services, and the Lumby-Stige church choir rehearses every Thursday in the parish hall, with no audition. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible, and there is a toilet.
