This modern værtshus (a Danish pub) by Odense harbour is an informal meeting place for friends, colleagues and walk-ins, and its name is a pun on the Danish word for hospitality. The atmosphere is relaxed, and you order at the bar yourself. There is draught beer, wine, rum and coffee, and the kitchen makes flammkuchen and classic Danish tarteletter (savoury pastry cups) with snacks. It suits groups.
There are quizzes, communal dining, wine tastings, yoga, board games and raffles, and music is played too. Tables can be booked by e-mail or phone. The kitchen closes at 8 pm from Wednesday to Saturday. Dogs are not allowed, and there is a toilet. Payment is possible by card and mobile.
