This partnership is one of Denmark's oldest legal practices, founded in 1853 by C. C. V. Liebe, one of the fathers of the Danish Constitution. It was later led by several generations of the family, including his son Otto Liebe, who became prime minister, and Leif Gamborg. Today it has 31 partners and 8 associate partners, governed by a board of six partners.
The firm advises on transactions, capital markets, banking and finance, real estate and construction, insolvency, litigation and arbitration, employment, IP, competition and public procurement, and tax and VAT. Each client has one fixed senior contact backed by a team of specialists. All lawyers are appointed by the Ministry of Justice and are members of the Danish Bar and Law Society.
