This is a beer bar and eatery focused on beer and classic Danish food. There are 26 draught beer taps, and the aim is around 200 different beers over the year. The building was a bank in 1908, became a pastry shop around 1920 and has been a pub (værtshus) since 1973. The atmosphere is folksy, and it is nicknamed 'the green bar'.
Lunch brings smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches), herring and cheese; in the evening there is a dish of the day plus standing options such as pariserbøf. There are vegan alternatives, a large selection of snaps and football on screens. You can sit indoors or outdoors and book a table. Dogs are not allowed, and there is no takeaway.
