This church was consecrated in 1898 and stands on former agricultural experimental land used by the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University. The parish was split off from Frederiksberg parish around 1897, and the church was financed by local donations. The organ was built in 1988 by Poul-Gerhard Andersens Orgelbyggeri and has 24 stops across three divisions with mechanical action.
The parish offers services, concerts and guided tours of the church, as well as a grief group for young people. The entrance and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
