This historic bath and culture house in Christianshavn, Copenhagen, dates from 1909 and is run by an association. It is the only one preserved of three bath houses built around the same time. The baths closed in 1997, reopened after a local initiative and were listed in 2000. There is a spa bath with sauna, steam bath and cold and warm pools, and a hamam with soap foam and scrubbing, plus massage, concerts, exhibitions and guided tours.
The rooms can be hired for private events and company events. There is a café and products are sold on site, and gift cards can be bought online. It is recommended to book well in advance, as it is often fully booked. The entrance and parking are not wheelchair accessible.
