This merchant in central Copenhagen, near Langebro, has a shop and a cellar that visitors can see. It was founded in Helsingør in 1760, supplying ships that paid the Øresund toll with drink and provisions, and moved to its current address about 140 years ago. It calls itself Denmark's oldest wine merchant. The range covers champagne, spirits, whisky, rum, gin, cognac and non-alcoholic drinks, including Old St. Croix rum and Bornholm gin.
You can order from the webshop and collect in the shop, or have the order delivered. Customers can bottle their own gin, rum, whisky or port straight from the house's own casks. There are also gift cards, tasting boxes and cocktail packs. The entrance and parking are not wheelchair accessible.
