This one-person carpentry business makes custom furniture for private and business customers across Zealand: cabinets, shelving, workstations and other tailor-made pieces for both indoor and outdoor use. The owner trained at a carpentry academy in Jerusalem and worked as a carpenter in London before settling in Denmark in 2013, and has earlier worked for Copenhagen furniture firms. The business was founded in 2016.
The process starts with a meeting and a quote, then the design is clarified and 3D sketches are made before production and installation. The work uses solid wood from the sawmill, which is planed, cut, milled, assembled, sanded and surface-treated in the workshop in Smørum, shared with two other self-employed carpenters.
