This domed circus building in central Copenhagen was inaugurated in 1886 and is described as the oldest of its kind in Europe. After a fire in 1914 it was rebuilt in 1915 as Denmark's first reinforced concrete structure. It was saved from demolition in the 1970s and renovated with interior colours by Verner Panton, and both the building and the colour scheme were listed in 1988. Since 2003 it has hosted circus and variety shows with a four-course dinner, plus a night club.
Reservations are accepted, and the venue is also used for concerts and corporate events. There is live music, beer, wine and cocktails, and card and mobile payments are accepted. The entrance, seating and toilet are wheelchair accessible, and there is paid parking.
