Denmark's first rooftop farm and urban farm, about 600 square metres, is in central Copenhagen. Organic vegetables grow on the roof, alongside bees, hens, rabbits, worms and composting. It runs as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) association, where 45 member families receive weekly harvests of vegetables, eggs and honey from June to November. Potatoes and other crops that need more land come from the partner farm Stensbølgård in Kyndeløse.
There are guided tours on Mondays in the season, workshops, teaching for kindergartens and schools, and volunteer days on Tuesdays from April to December. The restaurant in the greenhouse serves seasonal menus, and tables can be booked on the website.
