This antiquarian bookshop and publisher in Copenhagen describes itself as one of the leading antiquarian shops in Scandinavia. It has a large, varied stock in all genres, plus prints and posters. Titles are bought in continually and sold in the shop and online. Founded in 2001 by Søren Vangsgaard, it occupies four buildings. The main houses date from after the Great Fire of 1807, built by master mason Poul Egerod in the era of city architect C.F. Hansen.
Renovation in the 1980s uncovered traces of a churchyard laid out after the 1711 plague. The layout is labyrinthine, with stairs and levels throughout, and the most fragile volumes are kept on the ground floor. There is no wheelchair-accessible parking.
