This music venue is in central Copenhagen on a street corner, focusing on intimate live music in many genres, including jazz. It opened in 1934 as a traditional restaurant with cabaret and later became a jazz venue. Artists, musicians, writers and politically committed regulars have met here, and the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and a winter jazz festival are held here. Open jam sessions take place every Tuesday and Wednesday.
It serves beer, wine and cocktails, and sport is shown on TV. There is outdoor seating, and the venue can be hired. It has a safe space policy against sexism, racism, violence and harassment. The toilet is not wheelchair accessible.
