This district heating company was founded at a general meeting on 24 May 1971, after the Tranbjerg Haveby development of the 1960s. Since 1 February 1985 it has bought hot water from the Studstrup power plant via a heat exchanger station and pumped it through its own pipe network to consumers. The central heating plant was taken into use at the end of 1972, and oil-fired backup boilers are used when supply is disrupted. The served area has grown with later developments such as Vestergårdsparken, Porsevænget and Tingskovparken.
The website offers self-service, calculated heat accounts, news, a heating advice section and a district heating declaration. There is a duty line.
