This microbrewery in southern Aarhus brews hand-made specialty beer, including lagers, dark beers and IPAs inspired by American and English traditions. It was founded in 2005 by brewmaster Niels Buchwald, and its equipment comes from the USA. Seasonal beers are brewed alongside the permanent range.
The brewery shop sells canned beer and 60 cl bottles, and the cans can also be bought in the webshop. It also sells Spirit of Aarhus, whisky and gin made on the brewery's beer with Brænderiet Enghaven. There are guided tours with tasting straight from the fermentation tanks, and draught systems can be rented for private parties. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible, and parking is free.
