This public library is in Dokk1, at the mouth of the river. It has a children's library, study rooms, citizen service, a café and the city archive, and a fully automatic car park in the basement. Materials can be borrowed free of charge. There is a Maker-Lab and an Idélab for creative work, and Verdensrummet with a seed library.
You can book 30 minutes of personal guidance with a librarian, and there are guided tours of Dokk1 for individuals, groups, school classes and international guests. Rooms can be borrowed or rented. A large programme of events, many free, includes chess and English book clubs, and some events require a ticket. The entrance and parking are wheelchair accessible.
