This Christmas craft market is held in the former riding hall (Ridehuset) in central Aarhus. The building dates from 1876-1877, was later used for cavalry riding training and today covers about 900 m². The market has been held every year since 1990 and gathers around 80 exhibitors, most of whose stalls change weekly, so new goods appear.
Entry is free, and you can come as often as you like. The café serves mulled wine (gløgg), coffee, cocoa, æbleskiver, rice pudding (risengrød), cake and sandwiches. There is wheelchair-accessible seating, but no accessible toilet or hearing loop.
