This village church in Aarhus has a chancel and nave from the 1100s, built in Romanesque style of fieldstone. The tower and porch are later Gothic brick additions, probably from around 1500. The baptismal font is the oldest furnishing, and the pulpit is considered one of the oldest preserved late-Gothic pulpits in Denmark. The altar front dates from 1523 and the altarpiece from around 1600.
The parish hall has a café, a Wednesday café, a yarn café and a family Saturday for children. Sunday services and children's services are held, along with baptisms, confirmations, weddings and funerals. Event tickets are sold on the church's website. There is a hearing loop, and the entrance, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
