This reverse-vending station in Risskov, Aarhus, is run by Dansk Retursystem A/S and accepts empty bottles and cans with a Danish deposit mark. Foreign cans are also accepted for recycling, but without a deposit. The materials are sorted and sent to recycling plants, mainly in Germany, to be made into new bottles and cans.
Scan a QR code in the Pant app, pour the bottles and cans into the machine and press OK. The refund is paid to a chosen bank account within one bank day. The machine does not accept crushed cans, bottles with damaged or missing labels, glass bottles without a deposit mark, or waste, which can stop it. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
