This shop in central Aarhus sells Fair Trade goods and is one of the most experienced Fair Trade shops in Denmark. It is run as an association by individual members together with an aid organisation, with about 30 volunteers on the team. The range includes hammocks and hanging chairs, coconut-fibre door mats, baskets, alpaca socks, felt shoes, solar lamps, paper made from elephant dung, chocolate, organic coffee and quilted sari blankets. Many items are made from recycled materials, and about 90% are certified Guaranteed Fair Trade.
Surplus goes to promoting Fair Trade. Goods are shipped across Denmark by phone or e-mail agreement and sent once payment is received.
