The Danish Association of Social Workers is a professional association and trade union, founded in 1938, with about 18,000 members. Members are qualified social workers or students, which the association says is 90 percent of the country's social workers. It has full bargaining rights and belongs to the confederation FH. The Region Nord branch has an address in Aarhus.
Members receive the magazine Socialrådgiveren every two weeks and can use online salary, parental leave and holiday calculators. There is a hub with guides for shop stewards, plus webinars, courses and events, including some from Region Nord. You can join on the website.
