This grill bar in Aarhus calls itself a Danish diner and serves classic Danish grill food, smørrebrød (Danish open sandwiches), burgers and hot dogs. The speciality is the bøfsandwich, a beef sandwich with brown sauce and béarnaise. Pickles, stock and sauces are made in its own kitchen. It began in 1962 as a small ice cream and souvenir kiosk by the harbour and later became a sausage stand. Today it is in a sausage pavilion with over 60 seats, a play area and parking.
You can eat in, take away or have food delivered, and there is outdoor seating. It takes reservations and is child-friendly with a children's menu. Cards and mobile payment are accepted. The entrance, seating, parking and toilet are wheelchair accessible.
