This traditional Danish værtshus (pub) is in a former workers' house near Aarhus Fiskerihavn, close to the city centre. There is beer on tap such as Carlsberg, Ceres and Tuborg, and you can also get Møffe, a flavoured drink. The interior is full of dozens of clown figurines, mostly gifts from guests, and old circus posters from the Miehe family on the walls.
The pub is named after the circus family who bought the house in 1960, and since 2023 it has been run by the daughter of the former owner. There is outdoor seating, dogs are allowed, and tables cannot be reserved. You can pay by card and mobile.
