Home of Carlsberg is located in Valby, within the preserved 19th-century brewery district where the Carlsberg story first began. The iconic Elephant Gate, old stables, brick brewhouses and historic industrial buildings create a unique setting that reflects the heritage of Danish brewing. Visitors can explore original production spaces, learn about the Jacobsen family and follow the evolution of Carlsberg from a local brewery to a global brand.

The exhibitions include archival material, early bottle designs, brewing equipment, historic recipes and interactive installations explaining the science behind beer. Highlights also include the extensive collection of beer labels and the famous Elephant statues, which have become a symbol of Carlsberg. The visit typically ends in the tasting bar, where guests can sample classic brews as well as limited editions. The atmosphere blends industrial nostalgia with modern museum design.
